An Exercise in Imagination

May 9, 2011June 15, 2011 mayiwrite environment, friends, miscellany, my life, nature, travel fun for the random passerby, hee, passport, random, religion, senegal

Of course this isn’t the same video from earlier in the semester. Concentrate.

1. Pretend the little girl is me

2. Pretend that I am telling a true story about an experience in Senegal. You may be surprised how accurate it is.

Poised to Trot

March 25, 2009 mayiwrite government, my life, travel passport

I have power in my hands. It’s palpable. It has texture. Smoothness. It’s electric. It’s a sword that I can yield, and others must let me pass.

It’s a power I can lose. I must hold it close. Securely.

It’s precious.

It feels good.

My passport.
