Day: September 22, 2010

At 2:48 AM

September 22, 2010 mayiwrite miscellany, observations, writing i don't know what i'm talking about, john donne, morning, poem, poetry, random

at 2:48 am
this dark valley hears
fingers tapping upon
this keyboard and
my breathing

then John Donne’s wispy
pages turn
slitting the air
dripping
metaphysical blood

I inhale deeply
this ether
unsedated
cutting neatly
another psychic gill
