Out of the Dark

The explosives
Are nowhere
Near as powerful
As nuclear fission

They wouldn’t be
Worth noticing
Eight million miles away

They sure are pretty
How they light up the sky
And our faces

It’s different
Simulating
Sunstreaks
At night

More at flickr. Many of the photos are blurry and quite noisy; I was trying to work with the ISO on my camera. I’ll figure it out someday.

A Little Good News

July 9, 2009 mayiwrite my life, new york city, writing feeling pretty good in spite of it all

I could be very well on my way to my very first freelance writing assignment.

And that very officially would make me a struggling artist. In New York City.

Right now, nothing sounds more appealing.

Yep.
