It’s Probably Just the Fatigue Talking

Having a wonderful time with the people I love puts me in a weird place.

The Hamptons were so much fun, but I gotta say, it’s a party wherever we go.

Whatever’s going to happen next in my life is going to be very exciting.

But it’s also going to break my heart.

I stood in an apartment, listening to my friends talk and laugh, and the thought kept coming into my mind how hard it’s going to be to leave.

My rational brain considers the chances are even of my staying and my leaving.

This isn’t exactly a rational brain decision, though.

I’ve really got to face some things.

Ask the questions I already know the answers to, but this asking for confirmation might be the most difficult part of this process so far.
