I distinctly remember her doing this with our class, too. I am not sure what the paper was about, but I do remember her playing their music on many occasions. I also remember her counting down to the very minute on the anniversary of her meeting the lead singer (Justin Hayward, I think?)...and when the clock reached that fateful minute, she began to cry softly. Leading up to this moment, she had filled us in on how she met him and seemed almost like a giddy teenager. Most of the students in the class thought it was cheesy (especially the boys) or thought she was a little crazy, but I thought it was pretty neat to witness a teacher get emotional like that. I don't know, I guess it made her human to me. Her passion was very contagious and her class was one of the few I really enjoyed. Thanks for the memory. P.S. Her handwriting WAS amazing! I can still picture it.
